Sunrise Boot Camp Class – Tues. and Thurs. 6 a.m. in the WCC Gym.

Cardio Dance - Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m., in the WCC Gym. Bring a water bottle!

We'd love to have you join us for a fun game of rolling those dice.

The Women's Book Club enjoys reading and discussing various fiction and non-fiction books. The group meets on the fourth Monday of every month and is always open to new members.

Woods Chapel Playgroup is a forum for preschool aged children and their caregivers to explore activities available in our area, share information and build relationships. We are located in and around Lee's Summit and participate in activities all over Kansas City.

We offer one to two playgroups per week, monthly Mom's Night Out, occasional weekend family gatherings as well as an opportunity to give back through mission activities once per month.

This group creates beautiful quilts with great love for distribution to WCC’s various mission ministries serving children and new mothers.

Meets on the second Thursday of every month, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in Room 322.

Retreats, conferences, brunches, workshops and other special events are held throughout the year. These events bring women together for fellowship and spiritual growth. Watch for information about upcoming women’s events.

Meets on Saturdays 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. in Room 305/306. Any type pf portable craft (scrapbook, cross stitch, beading, hand quilting, card making, knitting, etc.) is welcome. Come and enjoy fellowship with other crafters while having dedicated time to work on your own personal project.

What to bring:

Supplies for your latest scrapbook/craft project, a snack to share with the group and a donation for Grace Place Food Pantry

Men's Recreation and Fellowship

Meets on in the WCC Gym on Thursdays for pick-up games at 8 p.m. March-Oct., and at 9 p.m. from Nov.-Feb.

This group allows you to learn a craft, provides a place for crafters to work, and allows the opportunity to use God-given talents in a creative environment.

Every Tuesday morning WCC men meet to enjoy coffee, great speakers, great fellowship and a spiritual boost. Recharge your battery, listen to real-world men’s teaching and take a new step! We’ll be sure to get you to work on time. Meet us in the Lecture Hall (Room 330) from 6:30-7:15 a.m.

Each spring we put together a Softball team! Come join the Men of Woods Chapel Church for some fun in the Blue Springs Ballpark on Sunday nights beginning April 7th. $40/player.

General Recreation and Fellowship

Parents of children ages 2-12 share babysitting duties throughout the year. Parents have the opportunity to meet and go out with other parents or by themselves. Held on the second Saturday of every month from 5-9 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Swing, cha-cha, rumba and waltz dances are taught Sept. - May on Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. in the Cafe Foyer. Progressive classes focus on one dance every four weeks. No partner needed.

Couples play monthly in each other’s homes.

This group meets about once a month for fellowship and meal preparation. Help prepare meals for those in the congregation in need, and take one home for your family to enjoy!

Medical professionals provide monthly blood pressure checks, seasonal flu shots and health screenings.

The Landscape Team ensures that the WCC grounds are kept beautiful by planting, watering and maintaining the garden areas and trees. Members of this group work on various days and times as needed.

The Nifty Fifties is a group who are age fifty and up, who meet for various social activities (monthly breakfast, after church lunches, dinner theater, and other events.) The purpose is to develop new friendships within our church community and strengthen your Christian ties.

Unique family-friendly environment for parents and children to do together! This training focuses on flexibility, technique, form and self defense. For adults and kids ages 10 and up. Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

This co-ed league meets on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Gym.

Men and Women are invited to play in this league on Monday nights at 5:30 p.m. beginning april 15 at Lakewood Oaks Golf Club. 12 rounds. 9 holes. 2 person teams.
