New Connections

Quarterly on Sundays from 5-8 p.m. in the Lecture Hall.

This is your opportunity to learn about Woods Chapel Church and get connected to a WCC group or ministry. In this one evening class, you’ll get to know WCC, learn how to find a place of belonging at WCC and how to become a WCC member. If you are new to the fellowship, or you have just been waiting for the right time to get further involved, please come to this introduction and connection time.

    Women's Tuesday Morning Bible Study

    9:15-11:30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall

    Studying "Missing Pieces" by Jennifer Rothschild.

    God's ways don't always make sense, but He is trustworthy. Come close to Him. Experience unexpected peace despite your heartache. Trust Him more than your feelings. God will reveal Himself to you and fill in your missing pieces. Study starts March 26th and is led by Susan Jackson and Deanna Price.


    Women's Wednesday Morning Bible Study

    9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall

    Studying “Believing God” by Beth Moore.

    Believing God examines what it means to believe God rather than only believing in Him. Study starts March 27th and is led by Laurie Darrah.


    Join us this fall as we gain financial freedom with Dave Ramsey in his updated Financial Peace University Course!

    The course has been revised and includes ONLY 10 weeks of classes, versus the original 13! Classes are typcially on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Gain knowledge on money and finances as we learn to use money the way God intended! Register online under forms.


    Women's Weeknight Study: Supper & Scripture, 6:30-8:00

    A Women's 6-Week evening bible Study of Becoming More than a Good Bible Study Girl by Lysa Terkeurst. Come to this study from work, or come from home ... supper will be waiting for you! Only $5 per week! Don't cook! Just come and enjoy the fellowship. Childcare available. Register HERE!

    Life Lessons: "When Faith Is All You Have" by Ruth E. Van Reken

    If you've come to the place where you need to know what exactly faith is and how to live "by faith", When Faith Is All You Have: A Study of Hebrews 11 will help you. Stories of faith-filled biblical characters. Starts March 3.

    Keeping God Real: FOR MEN

    Led by Terry McCarty in Room 303.

    Straight talk about tangible faith. A group of men discussing life issues in the light of scripture with other men walking similar paths. There is no book to read and discussion is voluntary. Ongoing class.


    Seekers of the Word: Studying the Book of Ruth

    Led by Bill Carpenter in Room 311.

    We are studying the book of Ruth and learning to trust God to provide what we need, when we need it, and to work out our lives in ways that are better than we ever imagined. We will move onto 1 & 2 Timothy to be encouraged in life and keep the faith. Ongoing class.


    World Religions: "When World Views Collide" by Ergun Caner

    Led by Kirk Doan in Room 301.

    This group began studying Islam vs. Christianity and it has grown! Come join us as we understand the beliefs and assumptions behind today's religious teachings. Examine the beliefs of major world religions - Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, and Islam. Starts March 3.


    Women's Study Group: "Hungry for God" by Margaret Feinberg

    Led by Karen Schuler in Room 312

    In your heart you feel the longing - an emptiness that can't be satisfied by food, or friendships, or entertainment, or success, or anything this world can offer. Only God can fill the void. Starts March 3.
