SOARLY NEEDED R&R - Respite Night

On May 3, we are partnering with SOAR, an organization that exists to transform the lives of special families and empower them to soar in their local and faith communities. SOAR provides respite, social clubs, summer day camps, caregiver support groups, Wonderfully Made Disability Conference, Employer Disability Training, and church resources.

This event at our church is a respite night for families with uniquely abled children. It provides sensory-driven activities with one-on-one volunteers for families, as well as a few hours of relaxation for parents to enjoy time for themselves. Children can be dropped off at 5 PM and picked up at 8 PM. Siblings are welcome to join; there is a designated area for them to participate in crafts, games, etc.
