The Table is a Dinner Church, an expression of a worshiping community. Serving at The Table is more like participating in a worshiping community where we feed and are fed. Individuals are invited to cook, set the tables, eat together, enjoy conversations about life and faith, and assist in cleaning up.

Donate – Be a one-time or continuous supporter by donating monetarily to help us purchase ingredients or choose ingredients to purchase from our list.
Cooking Team – A team gathers on Wednesdays 1:30 PM-5:30 PM to prepare the meal. Basic cooking skills are helpful for this role.
Buffet Stations – These individuals plate the food and serve our neighbors.
Runners – Assist with moving food pans and to-boxes from downstairs to upstairs.
Hospitality Team – Welcome and orient our neighbors to our ministries.
Table Hosts – These individuals are great conversationalists and listeners who eat alongside those sitting at their table. They are responsible for building connections with the people at their table and guiding the table in the communion liturgy and Table Talk.
Cleaning Team – Help bus the tables and clean the kitchen and serving area.

Serve: Volunteers for the Clothing Closet help with sorting, restocking, transporting clothing, and connecting with neighbors as they select their clothing.
1st Friday 10 AM - Noon: Sorting and Restocking at Raytown
2nd Tuesday 9:30 AM - Noon: Connect and help neighbors select their clothing at Raytown.
Donate: Gently-used or new clothing for infants through adults. Drop off in-season clothing in wire bins at Woods Chapel Lees Summit on weekdays from 9 AM - 4 PM or Sunday from 9 AM - Noon, and ministry leaders will bring clothing over to Raytown as needed.

Those who serve are asked to be available for two-hour shifts to help with the following:
· Assist people using the food pantry and carry bags to people's cars if needed
· Sort and shelve food
· Bag the non-perishable groceries and toiletries
First and Third Wednesdays of Each Month
1st Shift || 2:30 PM - 4 PM || Stock Shelves/Prepare to Open
2nd Shift || 4 PM - 6:30 PM || Greet, Assist Guests, & Packing
Second Tuesday of Each Month
1st Shift || 8 AM - 9:30 AM || Stock Shelves/Prepare to Open
2nd Shift || 9:30 AM - Noon || Greet, Assist Guests, & Packing
Donate: Donate: Drop off donations at Woods Chapel – Lee’s Summit Campus, weekdays Monday–Friday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, or Sundays 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, and ministry leaders will bring food over to Raytown as needed.
