Although the cost of backpacks, notebooks, binders, crayons, and colored pencils add up, these items are essential to starting the school year right. For some families, there just isn’t enough money in the budget to buy them, essential or not.
The Woods Chapel Back to School Drive will help over 300 students head back to school with the tools they need start school with confidence and to succeed throughout the year!
How You Can Help
Pick up a tag and instructions at The HUB Sundays in July (7, 14, 21, 28). The tag will have a list of supplies needed. You can also sign up online to receive a tag via email.
Once you have your tag, shop for a backpack and fill it with the supplies needed!
Return to Woods Chapel Church at The HUB or Front Office, no later than August 4!
The back to school drive in Lee’s Summit will supply backpacks and supplies to local schools, as well as organizations such as Hillcrest Transitional Housing, Camino Verdad y Vida, and more.
