Christmas at Woods Chapel

The season of Advent, which comes from the Latin word adventus meaning "coming" or "visit," begins four Sundays before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve. Advent is the beginning of the church year for Christians, so we spend the next four Sundays anticipating the celebration of the birth of Christ—these are not ordinary days!

Christmas Eve Services

All Ushers and Hosts arrive one hour before the service time and will have roles throughout the service. You will be able to see the service but unable to save seats during that service.

There are three teams that serve as Greeters, Floaters, Parking, and Medical. These individuals will be in positions where you cannot participate in worship while you serve, so you will need to plan on attending a different service. Here are your options for what services you’ll be able to attend depending on what team you serve on.
